Accessibility Statement
Last updated : July 6, 2026
This document is provided in English for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.
Location Remorque Laval (the "Company", "we", "us" or "our") is committed to making its website, www.locationremorquelaval.ca (the "Website"), usable by as many people as possible, including persons living with a disability. This Accessibility Statement explains what we do to improve the accessibility of the Website, the limitations we are aware of, and how you can reach us if you encounter a barrier or need our information, products or services in another way.
This Statement is published by Location Remorque Laval, located at 1870 rue Cunard, Laval, Quebec H7S 2B2. It applies to the Website only and does not alter or replace any other terms, policy or agreement governing our rental, sale and workshop services. In case of conflict between this English version and the French version, and to the extent permitted by applicable law, the French version prevails.
1.1. Our Accessibility Commitment
We believe that everyone should be able to access information about our trailer, machinery, lift and vehicle rentals, our online sale of trailer and RV parts and accessories, and our mechanical workshop services. We are committed to continuously improving the accessibility and usability of the Website so that persons with visual, hearing, motor, cognitive or other disabilities can obtain information and reach us as independently as reasonably possible.
Accessibility is an ongoing effort rather than a one-time result. As the Website evolves and as web technologies and standards change, we work to identify barriers and address them within our available resources.
2.2. Measures We Have Put in Place
We strive to follow generally recognized web accessibility best practices when we design, build and update the Website. In practice, this means we aim to:
- use a clear and consistent semantic structure (meaningful headings, lists, and page organization) so that content can be understood and navigated logically, including with assistive technologies such as screen readers;
- provide alternative text for informative images so their content can be conveyed to users who cannot see them;
- seek adequate colour contrast between text and background to support readability;
- support keyboard navigation for the main functions of the Website, so that a mouse is not strictly required;
- use readable text sizes and layouts that adapt to different screens and devices;
- write content in clear, plain language wherever possible.
Important. While we make genuine efforts to follow these best practices, we do not represent, warrant or guarantee that the Website conforms fully to any particular accessibility standard or version (including any level of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines), or that it is free of accessibility barriers, at all times and on all pages, browsers, devices or assistive technologies. To the extent permitted by law, our accessibility measures are provided on a reasonable-efforts basis.
3.3. Known Limitations and Continuous Improvement
Despite our efforts, some parts of the Website may not yet be fully accessible to every user or with every assistive technology. Known and possible limitations include:
- some third-party content, tools or embedded elements (for example maps, payment components, forms, or media hosted or supplied by third parties) may not meet the same accessibility standards, and are outside our direct control;
- certain documents, images or older content may not yet include complete alternative text or fully accessible formatting;
- compatibility may vary across different browsers, operating systems, devices and assistive technologies.
We treat accessibility as a process of continuous improvement. When we become aware of a barrier, we assess it and work to correct it within a reasonable time and within our available resources, prioritizing issues that most affect users' ability to obtain information or services. Reports from users are an important part of this process (see Section 4).
4.4. Assistance and Reporting a Barrier
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on the Website, or if you need information, a product, or a service in an alternative and accessible way, please contact us. We will make reasonable efforts to help you obtain the information or service by another means, and to address the issue you report.
You can reach us:
- by telephone at 450-232-7828;
- by email at info@locationremorquelaval.ca.
To help us respond effectively, please describe, where possible: the page or address (URL) concerned, the barrier or difficulty you experienced, and the browser, device or assistive technology you were using. We will acknowledge your request and do our best to provide a suitable response or the requested information or service in an alternative format.
5.5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Website and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, and the Company does not guarantee that the Website will be error-free, uninterrupted, or accessible to every user, browser, device or assistive technology at all times. To the extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the inaccessibility, unavailability or use of, or inability to use, the Website.
Nothing in this Statement limits or excludes any liability or right that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law. In particular, and under the laws of Quebec, the Company does not exclude or limit its liability for bodily or moral injury, nor for gross or intentional fault, and does not waive or diminish the legal warranties applicable to its products and services, including the legal warranty of quality and durability provided under the Consumer Protection Act. Your mandatory rights as a consumer remain fully in force and are not affected by this Statement.
6.6. Updates to This Statement
We may update this Accessibility Statement from time to time to reflect changes to the Website, to our practices, or to applicable standards and laws. The version published on the Website is the version in effect. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Your continued use of the Website after an update takes effect indicates that you are aware of the current version, without limiting any of your mandatory rights.
7.7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Accessibility Statement is governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws in force in the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to any mandatory provision of law granting you access to another forum, any dispute relating to this Statement or to the accessibility of the Website shall be submitted to the courts of the judicial district of Laval, Quebec, Canada.
